Overall responsibility for IT Infrastructure staff and their assigned duties, providing daily supervision and direction to the Infrastructure team; acting as a coach and mentor, and coordinating appropriate administration/support coverage/schedules. Oversees all pieces of IT Infrastructure including network communications (LAN and WAN), switching, routing, VoIP system, voicemail system, firewalls, data security components Oversee IT infrastructure personnel properly use incident tracking systems, including initiating, updating, and providing notes in a timely manner. Help triage support incidents and help facilitate resolution by working with other IT Department, other firm administrative departments, consultants, vendors, or other deemed necessary to address an assigned incident or problem. Provide hands on support, when necessary, to identify, troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network related problems experienced. Handle escalated issues that the IT support team is not equipped to handle; providing appropriate training and knowledge transfer for the IT Support Team to allow them to solve more problems without having to escalate to the IT Infrastructure team. Provide leadership for IT projects as assigned or developed by the CIO. Work with and oversee vendors, service providers, or consultants to help maintain systems and services, resolve support incidents, and complete projects. Authorize, coordinate, or supervise other IT infrastructure professionals working with outside resources as needed. Adhere to all IT policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. Help develop and advise the CIO on IT procedures and policies required to perform the duties of the firm’s IT Department. Keep current with the latest technologies. Conduct regular job performance reviews of IT infrastructure team to ensure employees are progressing and improving; conduct hiring in coordination with the CIO and HR Department.
