My practice consists of land use, zoning, real property litigation, real estate development, sand complex commercial litigation. • Representing developers, homebuilders, and landowners in land use, entitlement, and zoning matters, including rezoning hearings, variances, special use permits, site plan, and subdivision review • Representing business owners in commercial contract disputes, and complex real property and regulatory matters • Representing utility companies in real property litigation, tax, and entitlement matters • Negotiating transportation and infrastructure improvement agreements, including development agreements, utility agreements, easements, and abandonment of right of way on behalf of developers and landowners • Advising clients on state and local tax issues and litigation before the North Carolina Property Tax Commission and North Carolina Department of Revenue • Advising clients on regulatory and certification matters before North Carolina agencies, including Division of Motor Vehicles, Department of Health and Human Services, and Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission • Representing brokerage firms and individual brokers in securities arbitrations on a variety of fraud, securities and promissory note claims before FINRA • Representing manufacturing clients in commercial arbitration before the
