ABOUT ROBERT GRAMZINSKI
I have over 30 years of experience in leading diverse teams in multiple countries to accomplish common infectious disease research objectives. I am a Senior Director in the Government and Public Health Services sector at PPD, Inc (part of ThermoFisher Scientific. In this capacity I lead and support infectious disease infectious disease coordinating centers for major US Government funded clinical research networks. Prior positions include the Director of the US Military HIV Research Program at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research and in this capacity I directed MHRP activities in the U.S, Kenya, Nigeria, Uganda, Tanzania, Mozambique, and Thailand. This includes execution of a robust international HIV vaccine and HIV cure discovery program, preclinical development, and clinical trial research network. Additional operational support to the Army with threat and advanced HIV diagnostic capabilities. Also inclusive of a robust PEPFAR program (Mil-Civ and Mil-Mil) executed Tanzania, Uganda, Nigeria, and Kenya.
