Dallas Market Center | National Interior Design Community LeadAs Senior Director of Business Development for Design, I serve as a national ambassador for the Dallas Market Center, the leading wholesale marketplace in North America located on a dynamic 5 million sq ft campus in the Dallas Design District, attracting industry professionals annually from all 50 states and 85 countries. Driving growth, visibility, and strategic engagement across the interior design industry and beyond. I lead initiatives that position DMC and its distinguished tenants, partners, and associations at the forefront of the design world through premier representation at exclusive events, design weeks, trade shows, and high-level industry activations.With a focus on building traffic and loyalty within the residential, commercial/contract, and hospitality design sectors, I champion a dynamic mix of strategy, storytelling, execution, and connection. My role touches nearly every facet of DMC’s outreach to the design community—serving as a catalyst for both daily engagement and long-term relationship building with interior designers, builders, and architects.Scope of Work & Key Contributions:Strategic Growth: Design and deploy programs that increase daily designer traffic to DMC and its exhibitors, fueling both awareness and conversion.Brand & Media Leadership: Direct the design-focused media, content, and marketing strategy—shaping narratives through owned and earned channels, including press, newsletters, web, and social.Creative Direction: Oversee content, visuals, and voice across digital marketing, the Designers Guide publication, videos, and editorial content.Experience & Events: Conceptualize and execute high-impact programming and events in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.Industry Voice: Represent DMC as a speaker, panelist, and presenter at key events, conferences, and design summits—crafting trend-forward presentations and market insights.
