ABOUT GINELE DELGADO
I build inside complexity and fast-moving systems — where money, product, people, regulation, and technology collide.I’m driven by a deep curiosity to understand how systems really work — not in theory, but in practice — and then redesign them so they actually hold under pressure. I’m energized by interconnected environments, by the chemistry between teams, incentives, capital, and technology, and by turning chaos into something coherent, scalable, and trustworthy. At the core of my work is a clear driver: real financial inclusion — not as a slogan, but as a structural problem to be solved. I care deeply about the real economy: how money actually moves, who gets access, where friction lives, and where exclusion is unintentionally designed into financial systems.Over the last 12+ years, that conviction has guided my work across development finance, fintech, credit, people operations, product, and crypto — always inside high-growth, high-stakes environments where small decisions compound into massive outcomes.I started on the capital side, learning how investments are evaluated, priced, governed, and approved. I then moved closer to execution — into the teams responsible for deploying capital and managing risk. Eventually, I went all the way inside companies themselves, to understand what really happens after the term sheet: when growth meets product reality, margin pressure, regulation, and the human systems required to scale.A defining chapter of my career was leading People Operations at Bitso during rapid, multi-country growth — while also operating as a Chief-of-Staff–style partner to leadership. Holding both roles gave me a front-row seat to how organizations behave under scale. It was an intense, formative chapter that shaped a belief I carry everywhere: people systems are operating systems.I’ve worked with institutions like IFC (World Bank Group) and inside unicorn-scale fintech and crypto companies in Latin America, translating ambition into something that actually holds — operating models, unit economics, financial flows, controls, teams, and scalable infrastructure.Today, I lead Payments Operations at Bitso, operating at the core of financial rails, custody, and real-world money movement. The through-line of my career has been staying with complexity long enough to redesign systems —technical and human — so they become resilient, trustworthy, and capable of expanding access at scale.Because financial inclusion doesn’t happen through vision alone. It happens when systems are rebuilt to work in the real world — and for real people.
