ABOUT GEORGINA PENNY MSCSI ASSOC

I am an experienced professional with a strong background in both commercial and residential property sectors, having worked across Ireland and Canada. My career journey spans various roles in property, learning and development, ED & I and social impact, with a focus on change management, employee engagement, and community-driven initiatives. I have a proven track record of developing and nurturing key relationships, driving business growth, and fostering positive organisational cultures. I hold a degree in Property Valuation and Asset Management and professional accreditation with the SCSI and RICS. I have furthered my expertise with a Professional Diploma in Change Management and Business Coaching. In addition, I completed a Higher Diploma in Learning and Organisation Development, further expanding my knowledge in organisational growth and development. I also attained Associate CIPD status in 2024, enhancing my skills in people management and HR practices. Over the years, I have honed my coaching abilities, helping colleagues navigate challenges and reach their full potential. In my most recent role as Social Impact & People Development Manager at I-RES, I led initiatives focused on community engagement, corporate social responsibility, and employee development. I worked on projects like Citywise in Tallaght, developed a process around selecting employees to take part in the National Auctioneering and Property Services Apprenticeship Programme for career growth, and supported Cooperation Ireland with their ED & I strategy. I was also instrumental in I-RES’s internalisation process and have built and maintained strong working relationships with both internal teams and external partners. Throughout my career, I have demonstrated an ability to adapt to changing markets, manage complex projects, and implement strategies that align with both organisational goals and community impact. I am passionate about driving positive change, both within organisations and in the communities they serve.
