ABOUT GEORGE VRANAU
General Manager, and Head Coach, of the Ventura County Pirates, a Summer Collegiate Baseball Team. I served as the full-time Area Scout for the MLB Scouting Bureau in both Southern and Northern California. Performing the following tasks on a regular and on-going basis: evaluating and writing reports of players; creating and maintaining follow and draft preference lists; developing weekly schedules of games and players to observe; and performing in-house visits to determine signability. Additionally, I coached for 20+ years at various levels of amateur baseball (4 year university, junior college, and high school) in the Southern California region. I am available for immediate hire in a full-time scouting position. Willing and able to relocate anywhere throughout the United States. Open to all positions related to amateur or pro scouting.
