ABOUT GARY NEWELL

As a project manager for Ahold Delhaize USA Store Development team supporting Hannaford Supermarket construction projects, I am a leader who is recognized for stepping up to any challenge. For not only surviving but excelling through adversity. I take ownership of problems; implement solutions and put the greater team and overall goals first. My strength as a leader stems from the deep understanding that building strong relationships is the key to success. As elected Chair for the Veterans and Military Empact Network Group for Ahold Delhaize USA, I bring together colleagues throughout all levels of the organization across six locations to serve Veterans, Military and their families through fundraising, education and volunteerism.Previously:I was an Estimator with Retail Business Services. I have produced field appraisals, valuations and consulting services for a variety of occupancies. I have extensive experience estimating/appraising in a wide variety of industrial, commercial and institutional occupancies.I studied at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut and served in the United States Navy. I am a member of the American Society of Appraisers & Valuations with a specialty in Real Property.I draw on 20 plus years of experience in providing appraisals, valuations, risk assessment and consulting in a diverse range of occupancies including Health Care, Institutional, Public Utilities, Life Sciences, Historical Properties, Educational, Commercial, High Tech and Aviation.
