ABOUT KANISHK GARG

Kanishk is a dynamic asset management professional with 4 years of diverse experience across various roles, such as working in major alliances like Wellington Transport Alliance (WTA) as well as small/medium transport projects. From February 2023 to August 2024, Kanishk was an integral part of WTA, that maintains and operates the state highway network and assets in the Greater Wellington Region. Here, he demonstrated his ability to explore innovative technologies, streamline processes, and implement best practices to enhance sustainability, operational performance, and stakeholder value. Currently, he is seconded to Wellington Water as a Process Engineer, leveraging advanced technology for asset condition monitoring and continuous development of water services within the Greater Wellington Region. He is also seconded to KiwiRail as a Business Analyst, helping the Wellington Metro Maintenance and Operation team with the delivery of their Forward Work Plan.He has consistently leveraged his skills to develop and implement sustainable solutions that not only improve operational efficiency but also significantly reduce environmental impact. Driven by a passion for sustainability and continuous improvement, Kanishk is committed to identifying and executing solutions that create lasting value for all stakeholders.He began his career as a Process Engineer Climate Change in New Zealand’s dairy industry working in collaboration with Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority of New Zealand, where he developed a strong foundation in sustainability and process design & optimisation. In 2023, he transitioned to WSP to delve into Asset Management, further broadening his expertise.
