   Cystic fibrosis used to be a diagnosis with an expiration date. Today, people with CF are living longer, healthier lives because of one organization that refused to accept “that’s just how it is.”That organization is the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.I’m proud to serve as Chairman of the Board here in Connecticut. My role is to help make sure two things keep happening:1. We keep funding breakthrough research, because nearly every CF-specific drug available today exists because the Foundation backed it.2. We keep building a network of leaders who will not let this slow down.I also chair Connecticut’s Finest, where we recognize high-performing young professionals across the state, not just for career success, but for stepping up to help move this mission forward.We’re a donor-funded, 501(c)(3). We’re not interested in noise. We’re interested in outcomes: awareness, access to treatment, and ultimately, a cure.
