Munich, DE

Lead solution architecture for ADAS Verification & Validation on AWS for a premium German OEM, with emphasis on scalability, reliability, cost efficiency, and safety. • Own applications for large-scale closed-loop simulation using synthetic data and high-throughput open-loop reprocessing and KPI computation using collected data.• Act as technical + managerial lead for three development teams.• Serve as platform/overall architect and primary point of contact for monitoring, traceability, cross-application communication, and responsible adoption of GenAI tools.• Introduced SDV/Autonomous design patterns across workloads, aligning interfaces and data contracts end-to-end. Authored HLD/LLD and architecture decision records (ADRs).• Implemented SLA/SLO definitions and observability baselines (OpenTelemetry/Prometheus/Grafana) to reduce MTTR and improve release confidence. Created dashboards and alerts for monitoring of large-scale workflows and automated L1/L2 runbooks on alerts.• Evaluate security & compliance keeping in mind ISO 26262 (ASIL), ISO/SAE 21434, and UNECE R155/R156 principles; champion secure-by-design and auditability (data lineage).• Applied FinOps practices (rightsizing, autoscaling, storage tiering, tagging) and AWS Well-Architected reviews to optimize cost vs. performance at scale. Propose cost-reduction solutions• Enable robustness and efficiency with GitOps, redundancy and progressive delivery (blue-green/canary), strengthening reliability of deployment and reprocessing pipelines.Impact: reprocessed ~ 150k km/day at parallel jobs steady-state; onboarded 22 people across 3 teams.Tech: AWS (EKS, Kubernetes, AWS Batch, AWS Step Functions, CloudWatch/OpenTelemetry), Argo (Argo Workflows), Python, API Gateway/REST, IaC (Seedfarmer/CDK), GitHub.

ABOUT MUHAMMAD FAISAL

I’m an engineer-turned-architect with a background in machine vision, robotics, automation, electrical engineering, and computer science, now focused on safer, software-defined mobility. Along the way to my current role as Senior Consultant, I’ve delivered in automotive, aerospace, and medical settings.I bridge solution architecture, technical leadership, and business development: from whiteboard to production and from engineers to CxO/VP stakeholders. My recent work spans SDV/ADAS/Autonomous, V&V (open-/closed-loop), and data/AI & MLOps across cloud (AWS/Azure) and on-prem/edge platforms. I’m hands-on with API-first and event-driven architectures.I bring deep domain knowledge in Automotive & ADAS and a focus on where the field is headed: scenario-based validation & ODD coverage, synthetic data & digital twins, closed-loop simulation at scale (SIL/HIL/VIL), data-centric AI & MLOps for safety, continuous validation & OTA compliance (UNECE R155/R156), SOTIF (ISO/PAS 21448), and safety/assurance case automation.I also shape Process, Methods and Tools (PMT), define strategy (GTM), partner with ISVs/GSIs, and support pre-sales (discovery, RFP/RFI, POCs, demos) to accelerate adoption. Security and compliance are built-in via secure-by-design and alignment with ISO 26262 (ASIL), ISO/SAE 21434, UNECE R155/R156, and ASPICE. I enjoy building teams: mentoring, enablement & training.Outside work, you’ll find me pursuing photography, hiking, running and the occasional endurance event.
