I Serve as a key resource for ETL script conversion and development, using Actian Data Integrator and/or SQL Server Integration Services.Work with both an internal Technology group and external business partners to resolve data processing issues (e.g, IT improvements, production issues, etc.) and towards quality goals.Represent DM as a subject matter expert in projects/extended efforts, facing both internal and external partners, with exceptional written and oral communication skills.Provide technical support to internal customers for ad-hoc research issue resolution,(e.g, data research, advanced SQL (non-PL) queries, Excel macros, etc.)Utilize versioning methods, request-for-service tracking, and best practices to manage individual work.Develop, implement, and maintain advanced data testing routines. This includes identifying business validation requirements and developing the technical routines that validate against these requirements.Improve business processes by identifying gaps and building and maintaining the technical solutions to bridge those gaps/increase efficienciesProactively identify & communicate important issues to management, clients & internal resources for discussion & resolutionParticipate in on-going process improvement efforts (i.e. special projects) – identify and implement opportunities for processing improvement that will increase data integrity.Perform other duties as required.
