PhD in Hydrogeology (Hydrochemistry) with 25+ years of experience in environmental consulting and water resources management, specialised in groundwater. As Water Market Director, I lead strategy and delivery for projects focused on sustainable water management, groundwater quality, and climate-driven water scarcity solutions, including Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR).I have led multidisciplinary hydrogeological and contamination studies combining fieldwork, data analysis and numerical modelling. My expertise spans hydrochemistry and isotopes, salinisation and other groundwater contamination processes, soil and groundwater remediation, and technical support to engineering design. In recent years, I have also driven innovation and R&D initiatives to accelerate practical solutions for water security.Nowadays I am also leading projects where we develop digital solutions of Artificial Intelligence and Internet of things for environmental problems. We are also implementing digital twins in different water assets.
