ABOUT ERIN LAWLER

Erin is a graduate of Purdue University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Engineering in Manufacturing Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology. She is currently working as the Quality Engineering Manager for Northrop Grumman Launch Vehicles Division in Huntsville, AL.Erin previously worked for The Boeing Company as the Lead Manufacturing Engineer for the Boeing Huntsville Electronics Center of Excellence (ExCoE) and as a Propulsion Engineer for Boeing Research & Technology (BR & T) Advanced Space Propulsion. She supported development of Charger-1 for Advanced Fusion Propulsion Research with UAHuntsville and NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), as well as Integrated Vehicle Energy Technology (INVENT) for the 6th Generation Energy Optimized Aircraft program in St. Louis, MO. Her skills include, but are not limited to, Six Sigma, Manufacturing Systems, Quality Control in Manufacturing, Design for Manufacturability, Systems Engineering, Industrial Organization, Materials and Processes in Manufacturing, Advanced Personnel Management, Project Management, MESci, DOORS, Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Machining, and various CAD software. She was a member of the Purdue Solar Decathlon team that placed 2nd amongst international schools in Washington D.C. in 2011. Outside of her career, she enjoys waterskiing, wakeboarding, snow skiing, piano, singing, and drag racing. She grew up in Jupiter, FL and moved to Cedar Falls, IA in In 2002, she moved to Lawrenceburg, IN with her family. In 2013, Erin relocated to Huntsville, AL to begin her career with Boeing.
