ABOUT ERIK DOWLING
Erik is a Commercial Real Estate Executive with over 25 years of achievement in CRE investing and financing. He is a dealmaker, and contributor to the success of leading real estate investment companies, commercial real estate capital intermediaries, and global financial services firms. Erik was a Principle with Value Partners Group LLC, a New York City based real estate investment company focused on the acquisition and management of apartment communities nationally; a Principal of The SilverBrick Group, where he was responsible for acquiring, capitalizing, and managing the renovation of over units of value-add multifamily properties across three states. Erik’s past positions also include leadership roles at Ironsides Property Group, Ninigret Realty Capital, Holliday Fenoglio Fowler, Antares Investment Partners, Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Wells Fargo Bank and National Australia Bank. Erik is a former Adjunct Professor, at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate where he earned his master’s degree in Real Estate Finance; and he previously earned a BBA in Finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Isenberg School of Management. He is the Co-founder and President of the New York chapter of The Young Real Estate Professionals (YREPNY), a national real estate networking group serving approximately 6,500 members in New York City.
