Responsible for entering all inventory movement through the various stages of LumberTrack. Receive green loads into inventory against purchase orders, ensuring proper freight is entered. Warehouse organization, monthly inventory count, inventory management, weekly cycle counts of warehouse to ensure all packs are tallied and inventoried, upload all inventory counts from digital systems into inventory database, place descriptions on each pack, allocate and complete work orders throughout the manufacturing process to ensure all inventory costs are correct. Coordinate tag collection at machine centers, consume lumber at reman machine centers, tally, and re-tag lumber after machining at each work center and finished products. Develop and improve inventory control systems, and develop training schedules with operators. Serve as designated safety leader for all safety aspects, responsible for employee safety training, forklift certifier for all lift operators onsite. Identify workplace hazards and housekeeping issues. Accountable for work comp incident reports, and accident procedures. Monitor changes to and enforce all OSHA and company safety regulations, and processes. Manage startup meetings with teams, and schedule daily work and action items. Manage KPI board, SQDC, and culture, Manage hour-by-hour scoreboard. Work closely with department managers to ensure the department is operating safely, in a quality manner, and at the highest efficiency possible. Assist with the shipping department.
