About Eric Giacomini
With nearly five years in cruise line hospitality spanning operations and revenue strategy, and over five years in finance within the casino gaming industry, I bring a cross-functional perspective that is rare in either field. At Carnival Cruise Line I progressed from Entertainment Staff to Revenue Manager, overseeing a $45M revenue plan across eight streams while managing revenue-related operations for 26 ship teams and 200+ employees globally. I brokered cross-departmental collaborations, consistently hit YoY growth targets, and developed innovation concepts. The company later validated my role\'s scope by adding two additional headcount just to cover the operational side of what I had been managing alone. At IGT I completed a three-year finance rotation across accounting, investor relations, and FP & A, then moved into treasury before returning as Finance Manager. During my time as Finance Manager I have grown my scope from 8 to 16 studio organizations while overseeing an OPEX portfolio exceeding $86M. During one of the recent corporate restructures I stepped in to assume Director-level responsibilities, which involved building and delivering executive reports to incoming senior leadership until continuity was restored. Both companies brought me back into progressively senior roles based on the relationships and results I had built, which speaks to how I work, as much as what I have accomplished. I am now looking for a Director or VP role where I can bring FP & A expertise, operational experience, and a genuine understanding of guest and player experience together in one place. Somewhere I can lead a team, go deep into the business, and help shape strategy rather than just execute it.
