Translational peripheral nerve scientist studying surgical techniques, novel bioengineered devices, drug delivery systems, and therapeutics to improve motor and sensory recovery after nerve injury. Excellent oral and written communication skills with experience in manuscript and grant writing, culminating in 9 first-author papers and presentations at 20+ national and institutional meetings. Received competitive $10K Blaustein Pain Research Fund Grant as Co-PI, as well as competitive Dean’s Year research grant from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Currently developing an academic spinout - NervMyo Therapeutics (formerly Periphero)- a biotech startup focused on long-acting injectable therapeutics for peripheral nerve injury.
