I\'m Eric Berry, the Director of Consulting Services at Copper Hill Inc, with over 15 years of experience in FTZ (Foreign-Trade Zone) consulting. I\'m a Licensed Customs Broker, Certified Customs Specialist, and Accredited Zone Specialist. I specialize in compliance, operational efficiency, and strategic leadership in the FTZ industry. At Copper Hill, I manage various FTZ consulting projects to ensure our clients achieve compliance and operational efficiency. My work includes conducting FTZ feasibility analyses, compliance reviews, preparing prior disclosures, developing procedure manuals, managing FTZ activation, conducting CBP security surveys, and researching zone-related studies. I also handle the daily administration of FTZ operations, such as admissions, transfers, adjustments, shipments, systems reviews, reconciliation, and troubleshooting. I apply project management principles to all my consulting projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and effectively. I am also an active speaker, regularly presenting at webinars, conferences, seminars, and local economic development sessions. These engagements allow me to share insights, educate others, and stay at the forefront of industry developments. In addition to my role at Copper Hill, I serve on the Executive Committee of the NAFTZ Board of Directors, where I contribute to shaping the future of the FTZ industry. I hold a B.A. in Business Administration from Huntingdon College, focusing on marketing and international business, and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. My knowledge of program management principles helps me lead and develop team members effectively.
