I\'m an experienced customer-facing engineering leader, manager and subject matter expert in first-principles physical systems modeling, control systems and algorithm design, simulation, and system architecture. I come from a strong background in systems engineering. Most recently, I founded Simbus® to enable professional engineers and students in industry, academia, and research develop mathematical and physical models efficiently during critical stages of their systems engineering lifecycles. Simbus achieves this by providing model-based digital engineering consulting, training, and tools such as Simbus Bondgraphs™ that integrate with MATLAB® and Simulink® from MathWorks®.I’m both a forward-looking and a lateral thinker. I am an effective communicator, adept at conveying complex technical concepts. I value collaboration and actively engage with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders to foster productive relationships. I have a history of recruiting, mentoring, and managing high-performing teams.I have experience in the entire project lifecycle from initial marketing, proposal / bid development, project management, and execution.
