ABOUT EMMANUEL RAMOGI
Just completed my Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). After writing a successful research proposal on the use of machine learning techniques for fluid flow prediction, I was awarded a fellowship scholarship issued by the Alabama Established Program to Stimulate Competitive Research (EPSCoR). Before pursuing my masters, I worked as a production assistant at an apparel manufacturing company where I was in-charge of 6 production lines and managed the 6 team leaders and 3 group leaders of the 6 production lines. With the help of the available Industrial Engineers, we increased line efficiency from 20%- 50% in two weeks. I had great learning experience on various problem-solving techniques such as RCAs, A3 thinking, 5 Whys, 5S, and more.I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nairobi, where I developed a strong foundation in Fluid Mechanics, Solid Mechanics, Thermodynamics, and Material Science. I am constantly seeking to expand my knowledge and stay abreast of emerging trends in Mechanical Engineering.
