As an Event Coordinator at UC Irvine, I’m proud to support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) in its mission to cure blood cancers, including leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma, while improving the quality of life for patients and their families. LLS at UCI\'s mission is to provide a forum for discussion, education, awareness, funding, and support of our shared interest in making an impact in the fight against blood cancer, as well as provide to a participate place in to various interactions such as: service, advocacy efforts, education, fundraising and facilitating events tailored to our organizational interests.\" In my role, I organize events that raise awareness and vital funds for LLS’s groundbreaking research, education programs, and advocacy efforts.

ABOUT EMMA BLALOCK
Hi, my name is Emma and I am currently a student at the University of California, Irvine. I am majoring in Biological Sciences with a minor in Medical Humanities. Following my undergraduate studies, I aspire to pursue a career in Sports Medicine as a physician within the field of professional sports. My passion for healthcare and dedication to assisting others drive my career aspirations. Presently, I work as a physical therapy aide where I am able to work one-on-one with patients and help them through their recovery process. I am also a new volunteer at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC), where I provide support within the Ronald McDonald House community.In the future, I aim to engage in research and seek opportunities related to sports medicine. My journey is guided by a commitment to making a positive impact while remaining dedicated to serving others.
