ABOUT EMILY CAHN

Emily Cahn is the Director of Public Relations servicing Stanley Black & Decker\'s Tools & Outdoor business. Emily leads media strategy for DEWALT, the company\'s largest brand, and oversees PR initiatives for marquee brands CRAFTSMAN, BLACK+DECKER, and STANLEY. Prior to Stanley Black & Decker, Emily was based with Baltimore PR and advertising agency TBC, specializing in media relations, community engagement and event planning, as well as executive visibility and thought leadership initiatives. While at TBC, Emily was instrumental in coordinating annual community events for Amazon Fulfillment across Maryland, heading national media campaigns for Hair Cuttery and CVS Health brand MinuteClinic, regional campaigns for National Bohemian (Natty Boh) and OLD BAY. Other clients included Monumental Sports Network, ZIPS Dry Cleaners, the Hippodrome Theatre, Haribo U.S.A, DuClaw Brewing Co, and Penn National Gaming. Emily joined TBC from Edelman New York\'s technology practice. She worked closely with Edelman\'s consumer team on clients including Verizon and Canon U.S.A, concentrating on product placement in national and trade media and at key industry events. Other clients included Techonomy Media and Bloomberg’s events arm, Bloomberg LINK, for which Emily focused on event planning and media/influencer engagement strategy. Emily was also involved in executive positioning for Pandora Radio. Prior to joining Edelman, Emily was with O’Keeffe & Company, a full-service firm in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area, where she worked full-time with B2B technology solutions provider CDW.
