ABOUT EMILY SILVA
In my role as Senior Product Manager at Position Green, I’m passionate about developing innovative ESG solutions that help businesses achieve their sustainability goals. I\'m currently responsible for Position Green\'s Carbon Accounting product and EU Taxonomy solution. With a foundation in accounting and technology from my time at KPMG US, I transitioned from audit and tax roles to managing a major corporate tax software transformation project. My long-standing interest in sustainability and a desire to align my career with my core values led me to pursue a master’s in Environmental Management and Policy at Lund University. After completing my degree, I joined IKEA\'s climate team, where I contributed to developing the company’s climate footprint methodology with a focus on Scope 3 emissions and supported the digitalization of climate reporting. I now combine my expertise in finance, technology, and sustainability to help organizations navigate today’s evolving landscape by developing solutions that drive impactful change.
