ABOUT ELIZABETH PEARSON
Learning doesn’t stop at the classroom door—it’s the fuel that drives transformation. As a results-driven educator and leader, I focus on identifying and creating growth experiences that empower people to find their voice, build their skills, and step into the next chapter of their journey.At Purdue University’s Edwardson School of Industrial Engineering, I design and lead initiatives to improve organizational capabilities, manage a dedicated advising team, and drive professional development through innovative programs and mentoring. My work is guided by a simple belief: when you invest in the individual, the community thrives.Outside of my professional role, I strive to stay curious, challenge myself, and explore new experiences and ideas. I’ve lived the lessons I teach—as a Division I athlete, collegiate coach, and working mother who completed a Master’s degree while raising a newborn. These experiences have given me a breadth of perspective, empathy, and energy to help others pursue their best next step.Fun Facts- I was an NCAA Division I athlete on the Purdue University Softball Team (2006–2010)- I coached collegiate softball for three years while completing my first master\'s degree- I earned my second master’s while working full-time and raising a newborn (yes, it can be done!)- I am an avid baker- I\'ve visited 38 states (plus, Puerto Rico!) and 7 countries.MBTI: ENFP - Energetic and imaginative, enthusiastic people-person who thrives on connection, creativity, and inspiring others toward meaningful goals.CliftonStrengths: Connectedness, Woo, Ideation, Context, PositivityEnneagram: Type 2 (The Helper)- Warm, empathetic, and generous, Type 2s are motivated by a deep desire to help others and feel most fulfilled when they are making a positive difference in someone’s life.
