This role involves:Customizing solutions and supportive interventions for individuals and groups using the research-based approach of the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) Coaching leaders 1-on-1 and in groups to develop and leverage their abilities to navigate the myriad of “differences that make a difference”, and devise actionable, interculturally competent and equitable strategiesDesigning and facilitating interactive, engaging, developmentally appropriate training and coaching programs (via synchronous and asynchronous modalities) across a wide range of sectors and roles (front line staff through C-suite) to increase intercultural skill sets and create belongingEstablishing baseline and end of project assessment for organizations and groupsLeveraging and utilizing the strengths of several different fields (Intercultural Communication and Development, DEI, Psychology, OD, Global Competence, Adult Learning) to help clients achieve their goalsFacilitating Waypoint’s 15 week Intercultural Leadership Cohort and Certificate ProgramSpeaking at national and local conferences about various topics including: DEI best practices for organizational change, creative approaches to leveraging differences impacting workplace culture (national/regional culture, age, race, class, gender, sexual orientation, etc.), leading in times of polarizationConduct culture general and culture specific trainings, including understanding Islam and building cross-cultural understanding between Muslims and non-MuslimsSupervising a team of 8 trainers and staffOverseeing all aspects of small business administration (advertising and marketing, contract and fee negotiation, billing, client relationships, external communications, etc.)
