About Elana Caparco

Elana holds a BA in International Studies with concentrations in Environmental Sustainability & Global Health and Justice Ethics & Human Rights from American University’s School of International Service. She has also studied at the University of Michigan’s Gerald R. Ford School of Public Policy, the Danish Institute of Study Abroad in Copenhagen, and Freie University in Berlin. Elana is an incoming MPP candidate at the Harvard Kennedy School, where she will focus on international relations, cybersecurity, national security, human rights, and comparative governance.Elana was most recently an intern at the European Council on Foreign Relations’ European Power Programme, researching European foreign policy. She has also served at the Atlantic Council, Bipartisan Policy Center, U.S. Senator Reed’s office, Former Congressman Langevin’s office, Jackson Stevens Global, the RI General Assembly, and the German Institute for International and Security Affairs.
