Manage, coaches and develops key leaders within the DC, which include 35 hourly associates Inbound, Outbound, and Inventory Managers. Provides work direction, resolves problems, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.Directs and oversees all delivery service operations including scheduling drivers, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with all Company regulations and provide Regulatory Affairs with all required reports and logs (as applicable).Ensures a work environment which provides for team spirit, quality work, and safety by carrying out the Company’s pay-for-performance evaluation system and implementing operating procedures and safety education programs; recruit, train, and provide development opportunities for employees to ensure a motivated and productive work team.Collaborates with key internal partners (Sales, Purchasing and HR etc.) and seeks feedback to continually exceed and enhance the customer experience.Ensures accurate and timely preparation, processing, distribution and retention of Company records and government reports.Ensures appropriate sanitation and pest control of the facility; proper storage and maintenance of tools/equipment; proper salvage/disposal of approved damaged freight; and compliance with applicable government regulations.Ensures all DC personnel maintain a professional and courteous relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.Develops, implements, and maintains effective and timely communication processes between DC and Company personnel.
