ABOUT ED GILKISON
I spent over 20 years between the United States Marine Corps and then finished my military career with the US Army Reserve. While on active duty in the 80s I was injured and had to have a total reconstruction of of my shoulder. As a Disabled Veteran with knowledge in military supply, purchasing and distribution, this past April I decided to branch out and start my own Service Connected Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business to use my expertise in offering specialized products for military applications. My new venture Gilk and Sons serves all branches of the military through DLA business. We will also focus on partnering with other businesses with regards to DOE and US Army Corps Special Projects as I have a background in this type of work from my employment with PacTec where I maintained relationships and gained business with regards to Haz Waste, Rad Waste and Oil and Gas Spill Containment business. Between my military enlistment and PacTec I worked for Verizon where I was a Business Development Rep where I emphasized on Fiber Optic sales.
