My professional life has had a logical progression, though perhaps not the most direct path. My strong interest in writing, after graduating from Cornell University, led me to an initial career in professional publishing, first as an editor and then as a writer at McGraw Hill. Given my passion for both language and analytics, I entered the New York University Stern School of Business part-time MBA program and graduated with a concentration in information systems and finance, all while still working full-time in publishing. I then segued into the financial industry as a technical writer at Morgan Stanley (MS).
