About Drew Williams
I am an experienced operator, currently managing consulting engagements for CIC Catalyst (a.k.a. Captains of Innovation). In this role I work closely with local stakeholders within innovation ecosystems, including: academic, corporate, and government leaders.Previously, I led operation of the State of Vermont’s COVID-19 testing programs for CIC Health — managing public testing sites within 30 minutes of every Vermonter and facilitating nearly 2 million tests across schools, long-term care sites, correctional facilities and several other public and private locations. Before that, I operated CIC’s Newton Innovation Center, in partnership with the City of Newton and Charles River Chamber of Commerce. I co-founded an ongoing annual charitable event in honor of my late friend Greg Cook that has raised to-date. I also serve on the board of a local community non-profit.I hold a Master of Business Administration degree from Boston College, Carroll School of Management, and previously graduated from Elon University in the inaugural class of Entrepreneurship majors.
