RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide strategic and operational oversight for Hillel’s network of 34 cities in 14 countries, and 150+ employees outside of North America and a dedicated full time staff team at Hillel International. Ensure global Hillels have access to and are included in, all Hillel International and movement wide opportunities. • Engage partner foundations and individual donors as part of a comprehensive global advancement strategy in support of the engagement and community development work of all global Hillels• Ensure that all elements of Hillel’s role as a Birthright Trip Organizer is executed in a timely and efficient manner by the US-based team, including an extensive operations process, from training campus professionals on recruitment and eligibility to ensuring logistical success at all stages of the trip experiences• Evolve Hillel International’s Immersive Experience (IE) strategy to maximize the scope and impact of IE programs marketed and delivered through Hillel • Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with key partners in the IE ecosystem, including campus Hillels, Birthright Israel, trip organizers/providers, internal department partners, funders and other supporters of IE programsACHIEVEMENTS • Designed, created, and implemented an enhanced immersive break trip program offering more than 40 sites around the world through 15 unique educational and logistical trip organizers, increasing centralized participation by over 500% in three years• Created and implemented a three-pronged global strategy centered on enhancing and developing new global partnerships with organizations and entities with which Hillel has common ground and collaboration opportunity, increasing global engagement opportunities among students, maximizing the use of existing personnel and resources at Hillel International in service to global Hillel support
