ABOUT BENEDIKT SCHMIDT
Benedikt Schmidt has a multi-year experience in IT services and sales. As Director for the Partner Ecosystem of Retail Software he develops and manages new relationships with partners to enhance the Software portfolio of the Diebold Nixdorf cloud based Vynamic Retail Platform. He manages and enables strategic partners on a global level to resell the Retail Software. In his previous role as Solution Sales Director, he developed sales strategies for multinational customers and has closed stratagic deals with global and strategic customers with a TCV >180M USD. In his role as Account Executive Manager he was responsible for large outsourcing customers with annual revenues up to 130 M USD and has continiously developded the “share of wallet.“ He interacts with customers on C-level. He utilises his service knowledge in combination with a broad technical understanding to succesfully manage these customers including a structured way to work. In addition to this, he has succesfully build up and managed succesfully teams, with direct reports as well as virtual teams. He has gained his management competence and technical skills in the industries manufacturing, banking and insurance, retail and telecommunications He has worked in international environments for many years and uses his intercultural competencies to succesfully manage his work.
