ABOUT BEN WILLIAMS
As Customer Account Manager with Equinox, I currently liaise and coordinate delivery of comprehensive P3M and advisory solutions to the UK Ministry of Defence.Previously, as part of Equinox delivery, I have led high-impact initiatives, including the UK MOD Delivery Unit’s 2nd PUS Review of Science, Innovation, and Technology, and established an internal advisory team within Defence Equipment & Support to establish and enhance project and programme management. Until 2020 I worked within the Ministry of Defence - as a PhD qualified Science & Engineering Faststream entrant. In a 20 year career. I have undertaken key roles in policy, acquisition, operations and corporate. This has included a number of influential Private Secretary/CoS positions, leading the Nuclear Weapons Programme Management Team and leading a significant rotary wing portfolio in DE & S at Senior Civil Service level. With a background in pharmacy, organic chemistry, CBRN and science policy, I am also a graduate of the Royal College of Defence Studies - the most senior staff college in the UK-that specialises in strategy and international relations.
