I am responsible for DTE Energy’s biogas to renewable energy business unit, which is part of DTE Vantage (the non-utility subsidiary of DTE Energy). We create both renewable natural gas (RNG) and electricity by collecting and processing biogas at landfills and dairy farms across the United States. I head up a company of approximately 80 employees with a current project portfolio of 26 facilities (15 RNG, 10 electric and 1 direct biogas) in 9 states. We continue to have an aggressive growth plan, as we both develop greenfield projects, as well as acquire development and operating projects that meet our investment criteria.
