ABOUT DMITRIY PROKOPCHUK
Hi, I’m Dmitriy, currently a Software Engineer at eBay. I graduated from the University of Toronto in 2025 with High Distinction as a grateful recipient of the Full-Ride 2021 Lester B. Pearson Scholarship and a degree in Computer Science. I\'m super passionate about building distributed systems and scalable APIs in the cloud. I love learning about what makes complex systems work, it\'s fun! In Uni, I worked on a variety of cool projects, including leading the design and development of a backend for a Chess AI platform as a Research Assistant at the UofT Computational Social Science Lab, working as a Teaching Assistant for an Introduction to Software Engineering course, and organizing hackathons with the Google Developer Group at UTSC. I completed multiple SWE internships, including at eBay working on improving cache resiliency in eBay\'s View Item pages.
