I built it into a 14+ engineer cross-platform org — iOS, Android, Web, and BFF — operating at $35B+ payment volume across buyer checkout, seller payouts, and C2C commerce in 6+ countries.The delivery record: a 1-click checkout platform generating $60M+ in annualized iGMV, launched February 2026 after 10 cross-platform experiments. A Venmo/Braintree integration coordinating 20+ teams on brand-new processor rails, delivered months ahead of the committed date — hundreds of millions processed in Year 1. A configuration-driven, payment-agnostic platform reducing end-to-end integration time ~80% and enabling $10M+ in cost-of-payments savings across PayPal and Klarna. A federated GraphQL API spec and processor-agnostic checkout architecture — long-horizon bets before a playbook existed.When architecture was invalidated mid-delivery on a surface processing billions of daily requests, I phased scope, lent engineers cross-team, and delivered across 4 compounding unknowns: technical, dependency, resource, and timeline.The team is AI-native — and I led this shift before it was obvious. A UIKit→SwiftUI migration workflow cut task time ~75% — demonstrated to the CTO and selected for company-wide sharing.
