Key Duties: • Deploying and maintaining of business solution infrastructure (database servers, application servers, containerization platforms, integration platforms, network infrastructures like balancers, service mesh) on the Dev/Test/Prod environment• Participation in planning and designing of architecture of the applications and DevOps environment• Developing automation pipelines for deploying databases, containers, or non-containerized software (such as packages)• Developing of application deploying configurations, like Helm Charts, Ansible Role• Developing of pipelines and tools for automated testing• Writing infrastructure documentation in Confluence• Tech stack I work with- Kubernetes as a containerization platform- JFrog Artifactory as a storage for artifacts and docker images- Delinea Secret Server as a secret storage- Python for writing automation scripts- Kafka as a MQ- Ansible to run different types of deployments- Helm to deploy microservises- Red Hat Linux as the main OS for all devops needs and for working with docker images- Docker Compose to run automated testing- Liquibase to databases deployAccomplishments:• Developed a standardized microservices deployment process from scratch, significantly increasing deployment efficiency and providing development teams a clear understanding of the deployment workflow• Developed a standardized set of scripts for build, testing, and deployment. As a result it excluded manual deployment and reduced the time of development teams• Automated and implemented the release process in 2 agile teams, which can also be used by other teams across the company. As a result, manual work for building, testing, and deployment has been excluded• Developed a maintenance guideline for the mihcroservides architecture, which improved the reliability of the PROD environment and helped prevent downtime • Launched 2 systems into production, which allowed migrating the part of monolith into microservices
