ABOUT FERDINAND SIMANJUNTAK

I am a graduate student of Agricultural Engineering, University of Jember who studies technology development in agriculture, agricultural production planning, economic analysis in the field of business, post-harvest food processing, environmental management, and the application of agrarian mechanization which I do a lot in completing projects and coursework. Learning and practice through lecturer projects, completion of coursework, and learning from online courses to improve my knowledge and understanding in the field of precision agriculture. I have experience in fieldwork lectures as a lecturer assistant to test drying machines and conduct business feasibility analyses. The results I got were data analysis of machine performance and a successful analysis of the feasibility of a seed drying business. I also have experience as a Lecturer Assistant for courses in Instrumentation and Electronics to assist students in understanding practicum material according to the learning module. I also successfully conducted a project in the development of fish feed from maggots to empower farmer groups. I successfully joined the student association to train my leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking in planning every activity in the organization. I also attended courses to enhance my understanding of agricultural technology, IoT, Microsoft Excel, and production planning. I am a person who keeps learning especially new things to improve my understanding and skills. I also have the desire to work in the fields of agriculture and plantations, food processing, agricultural mechanization development, Internet of Things development in agriculture, business analysis, and agricultural environment development. I have supporting skills that I learned in online courses, organizations, and projects that I completed during my studies. I am a person who enjoys team collaboration, communication, and leadership development.
