ABOUT DIMITRA SKIANI

I am an Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer with experience in solutions such as One Identity Manager, Saviynt, and Microsoft Entra ID.I am currently supporting Austrian Post (Österreichische Post AG) as an IAM Engineer through Agile Actors. I previously worked at Accenture, specializing in IAM while developing a strong secondary focus on Application Security. In this role, I contributed to multiple IAM and CIAM projects, providing architectural input on Identity Governance, as well as authentication and authorization implementations. I also regularly performed SAST and SCA analyses to identify potential security vulnerabilities in both custom code and third-party components of tested applications. Earlier in my career, I worked at Intragen (formerly AspisID), implementing IAM solutions using One Identity tools, focusing on RBAC, compliance testing, scripting, and IT Shop portal customization.Beyond professional experience, my background bridges physics and cybersecurity, with a focus on optical communication security. I hold a BSc in Physics and a MSc in Computer Science, completing a Master’s thesis on leveraging digital signal processing (DSP) techniques for enhanced security, error correction, and authentication in optical fiber networks, using polarization mode dispersion (PMD) and differential group delay (DGD) metrics.During my undergraduate studies, I contributed to research at the Photonic Material & Devices Laboratory of the Foundation for Research and Technology - Hellas (FORTH), focusing on optical fiber sensors, particularly those using the Bragg grating technique and silk fibroin transduction.
