ABOUT DIMITRIOS GELASAKIS

A C-Level Executive (Chartered Civil Engineer), Dimitrios has started his career in the construction industry since 2001. He has an important local and international experience in many fields of the construction industry (Consultancy, Construction, Project Management and Business Development) of a variety of large-scale projects (infrastructure and industrial), such as, Motorways, Railways, Bridges, Tunnels, Metro, Airports,Industrial Buildings, etc. Dimitrios has a strong academic background, indicative: Master\'s Degree in Civil Engineering, Expertise in Transportation Planning & Engineering (National Technical University of Athens), Diploma in the Strategic Project Management (Herriot –Watt University, UK), successful participation in many exclusive professional courses organised by top international institutes (LSE, PMI, etc). He has been involved successfully in many important projects with different contractual schemes since 2001 (Public Works, DBFO, BOT, PFI and Private Investment Works) either in Greece or internationally. Within the years of his career he has been selected and appointed by major international and local firms, in the frame of his duties he has also established good relationship and connections with many important firms of the international construction industry (Contractors, Designers, Consultants, etc). The strong academic background, the international experience and connections, the personality, the efficiency and of course the professional capacity and integrity as manager are some of the key factors that give him the opportunity to be selected and appointed for various management positions. Dimitrios is strongly committed to excellence and he believes that in the race of excellence there is no finish line.
