Crpd Community Interventionist @City Of Columbus

Columbus, OH, US

I currently work with the Department of Recreation & Parks Youth Development Section as a Community Interventionist. My job as an Interventionist is to simply find ways to serve the community. I work directly alongside Columbus Public Health to provide wrap around services for At-Risk-Youth and families in need that have been victims of violence or crime and need assistance with Neighborhood Violence Intervention. We take a wholistic approach and serve both the youth and family by connecting them to community resources and our partners to provide needs based counseling, mental health support / grief counseling as well as academic support and case management, to help combat issues in our communities such as: Homelessness and Food Insecurity. If you know a family or youth that could benefit from our program, I have attached the direct link to our Voluntary Referral form The program does not cost and is 100% Voluntary.
