Promoted as the first Manager of the Revenue for Hire (RFH) program to oversee all aspects of the revenue for hire program once it grew large enough to need its own leader in 2012. Responsible for hiring and training all staff and creating program consistencies. Scorecards goals based solely on growing ADR and RevPAR index, increasing brand contribution for the hotels in the program which started at about 200 and eventually grew 900+ hotels across 12 different brands. Responsible for ramp up all onboarding new build and conversion properties as well as auto transfer hotels as they are mandated in the RFH program to assure reaching fair market share in a timely manner. Throughout this role I continued to be acting Director of Revenue for many hotels in need of expert assistance to ensure I utilized our tools (PMS/RMS/Reporting) and kept my skills sharp. Instrumental in improving efficiencies with reporting with Amazon Quick Suite and other proprietary systems 15 years to increase the bandwidth per revenue manager and improve the ability to quickly identify successful revenue strategies. Responsible for creating and maintaining the annual budget for the department within 3% accuracy, forecasting revenues and expenses for the RFH self-funded program. Reviewed Profit and Loss statements, monthly, quarterly, etc. Responsible for performance of revenue management strategies for 130+ hotels in my portfolio that are assigned to my direct reports - join calls, review strategies and consult regularly when needed for underperforming properties as well as those doing well if more opportunity to maximize revenue exists. Interviewed, hired and trained over 100+ Revenue Managers, with turnover less than 1% annually. Hiring mostly due to growth of the department.
