Hello! my name is Denae Mobus, and I am a junior at the University of Pittsburgh, graduating in May 2026. I am majoring in Finance and Business Information Systems with a minor in Law, Criminal Justice & Society (LCJS).Most recently, I interned in the Treasury Department at U.S. Steel, where I focused on corporate finance and cash management projects. My work included analyzing bank fee structures across multiple financial institutions, building Excel dashboards to track ACH and wire activity, and supporting leadership with Bloomberg-based reports on market and industry trends. This experience strengthened my technical skills in data analysis and financial modeling, while also giving me exposure to real-world decision-making in a Fortune 500 environment.On campus, I am actively involved in Alpha Kappa Psi, the professional business fraternity, where I serve as Risk Management Chair. Through AKPsi, I have gained leadership experience and developed my ability to collaborate with peers who share an interest in business and professional growth.I am passionate about the intersection of finance, technology, and law, and I am especially interested in how legal and regulatory factors influence financial strategy and corporate decision-making. After graduation, I plan to pursue my MBA and continue building a career in areas such as corporate finance, investment management, or strategy.
