The Strategic Quote Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the completion of large Strategic customer quotes, negotiating pricing and driving key supplier lines. Works closely with Corporate Product Managers and Strategic Sales Account Managers to maximize gross profit margin and pre-tax goals while achieving excellent customer service. Assigns, manages, and coordinates quotes by working with Strategic sales staff, suppliers and corporate Product department to develop a price for product that will be competitive and offer the largest gross profit margin. Provides guidance and product support by responding with a sense of urgency to issues, while utilizing problem solving skills to help resolve pricing, accounting and inventory management issues. Removes obstacles, helps negotiate major contracts and provides product solutions/unique advantages for suppliers, customers and other industry representatives so that TTI is considered the preferred partner for suppliers, the preferred choice of products for customers and the best distributor for which to work in the industry.
