Hello! My name is Dave Martin and I am a highly motivated software engineer who is proficient with several widely used programming languages and frameworks including Python3, React, JavaScript, Django, Express.js, Node.js, and jQuery. I also have a firm understanding of several databases including MongoDB and PostgreSQL. Previously, I was a restaurant Manager with Cooper’s Hawk Winery and Restaurants where I helped manage and take care of a team of wonderful employees through the hardest years the industry has ever seen. These responsibilities included maintaining a positive atmosphere and culture, keeping staffing levels adequate and consistent through ever-changing capacity restrictions, diligently sustaining our budget, and continually driving sales. Outside of work I am a full-time father of two amazing young sons who test me every day, and are my greatest accomplishments in life. Through my experiences I have learned strength, adaptability, hard work, teamwork, and critical problem solving. Through my education I have refined my skills of organization, attention to detail, creative thinking, complex problem solving, and collaboration. I am passionate about learning and furthering my education in this industry, but always while driving success.
