Responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a comprehensive risk management strategy and framework across Castle Water. Work closely with Execs and SLT to manage strategic risks. Manage the overall suite of Risk Management documents for the organisation ensuring they are subject to regular review and remain fit-for-purpose for the business.Manage the Corporate Risk Register for the business ensuring appropriate mitigating controls are in place and tested to demonstrate evidence.Manage emerging risks ensuring applicable scoring and visibility across business. Design and oversee a comprehensive control assurance / testing programme under RCSA to ensure control gaps are known and work in place to address. Make risk assessments, which involves analysing risks as well as identifying, describing and estimating the risks affecting the business.Quantify and maintain the organisation\'s \'risk appetite\', i.e. the level of risk they are prepared to accept.Report and present risk in an appropriate way for different audiences, e.g. to the Board and Audit Committee, so they understand the most significant risks, or to business heads to ensure they are aware of risks relevant to their parts of the business and to individuals to understand their accountability for individual risks.Support business areas in building and managing their Business Area Risk Registers capturing all lower-level risks, mitigating controls, and issues and actions to address control gaps.Provide expert advice and support to both SLT and departmental colleagues on Risk Management.Develop and foster a strong risk management culture across the organisation.Meet corporate governance requirements involving external risk reporting to stakeholders.
