About David Roberts

I create digital experiences that actually hit. The kind that look good, make sense, and stick with people. Some days that means building an interactive WebAR project. Other days it’s animating in 3D for a story that might run on national news or taking technical research and turning it into something anyone can understand. Whatever it might be, I’m aiming for clear, memorable, and meaningful.For over 15 years I’ve mixed design, animation, and web development into one lane, and honestly, that mashup is where I do my best work. At FIU, I partner with researchers, marketers, and leadership to build things that are Blue, Gold and bold, on-brand, and actually useful. My projects usually live somewhere between immersive media, storytelling, and “wait… how did you do that?”Some people call me a creative Swiss Army Knife. I can sketch it, design it, animate it, prototype it, and present the final result. I’m always trying new tools, new ideas, and new ways of solving problems. I care about the work, but I care just as much about the people I’m doing it with. Helping teams grow, pushing ideas further, and making things that move people is my favorite part of the job.That… and coffee. Always coffee.
