ABOUT DARCY TOCCI
I am a healthcare innovator and doctorate candidate with over seven years of experience at the intersection of translational science, clinical research, and biotech entrepreneurship. Currently, I serve as CEO for a biotech and therapeutics startup where we are advancing HDAC11 inhibitors for Alzheimer’s disease. As part of the Nucleate Activator Program, I lead business development, early fundraising, and strategic planning to bring our therapeutic concept to life.Alongside my leadership in biotech, I’m a Venture Capital Fellow at DigitalDx Ventures, evaluating and supporting high-impact investments in healthcare technology. My research spans roles at Harvard Medical School and NSU, where I contribute to clinical informatics, neuroimaging, and spaceflight-related neurodegeneration studies. I’ve co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and presented nationally on neuroscience, informatics, and patient-centered care.I hold an MBA in Health Information Technology from the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School, and am passionate about driving forward innovations that integrate science, business, and patient advocacy.
