Delivering to me is the connection we all have with a supply chain and in humanity. We all order things the supply chain let’s you get them to you’re door. Delivering a beautiful system we can all indulge on that’s my trait delivering is an honor. I became a dental assistant back in 2016 and soon realized that working with kids was a great honor. Making sure they have all their teeth before adult teeth started sprouting was my main focus. I was once that kid that had no front teeth and had two silver teeth on the side. That sure didn’t sit well with me growing up in elementary school. Now my kids and their friends really know a lot about taking care of their teeth thanks to me. My mom in Mexico was a nurse and my father in Puerto Rico was a mechanic. I grew up seeing my mother taking care of elderly people in the medical field. I saw my father with a dirty greasy wrench growing up; that put me to like both sides of my parents careers. So I took a different twist to it I ended up liking the dental field and transportation. I have delivered car parts to being inside someone’s mouth with little to no teeth. Both of my chosen careers had something to do with fixing someone’s most reliable asset. Los Angeles Metropolitan Transportation Authority soon gave me a chance. I change my career from a dental assistant to a bus operator. I took extensive technology training and bus operations training course in Los Angeles, California. I learned how to drive a bus and how to maintain composure at extreme situations with patrons inside the bus. The psychological part of being a bus operator is very draining; you have just about all types of family members riding inside the bus, countless love ones relying on my professionalism to get safe to their destination. It’s truly an honor to be given the opportunity to be a bus operator thank you MTA. Soon after the pandemic hit I took a small twist to the transportation industry and became a Class A with a TWIC card and all endorsements obtained. Learned about the supply chain and how crucial it is to be a truck driver. Literally everything we hold in our possession was brought by the supply chain. I became a truck driver for Fedex Ground and started seeing the states as an OTR driver. Delivered to most of the United States from pub trailers to 53 foot trailers. Truckers are under rated and over disrespected from not letting them pass by in the freeway to making laws that don’t favor them. Truckers leave their family for weeks at a time for all of us to enjoy our life. Thanks for reading
